What designers do you carry?
We always have a large collection of popular domestic and international designers in addition to lesser-known brands that design stunning couture dresses. We cannot provide you with an exact list of designers because our inventory is constantly changing, but rest assured, our buyers know the different looks any bride wants and where to get them at a significantly discounted price.
How much do your bridal dresses cost?
The dresses in our collection were originally listed between $1000 - $9,999 and are available to you at a 40 - 80% discount.
What sizes do you carry? Will you have sizes for me to try on?
We carry sizes 2 - 28. All of the dresses in our collection are in the store. This means you can try on the dress you buy before buying it.
Do you have alteration services if my dress doesn't fit properly?
We do not do in-store alterations. We have a list of seamstresses we will gladly provide you upon your request. Working directly with a local seamstress is a great way to keep your costs down.
When should I plan to purchase my wedding dress?
At Essence Wedding Center, it's never too early and it's never too late. Each bride has her own timetable of what feels right to her. Some brides feel better knowing they have their dress early on in their planning process, while other brides need more time. Either way, we have hundreds of dresses that you can buy directly from our racks.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes. Appointments are required so we can focus on you during our time together!
What are your hours?
We are open on Fridays from 11am -7pm, Saturdays from 10am -6pm, and Sundays from 11am - 5pm. Don't worry if you need an appointment outside of these hours! Please see our question listed below.
How much are your appointments?
We do not charge anything to work with one of our expert stylists during your first appointment.
Do you take appointments outside of your regular hours?
Yes! If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, we highly recommend that you schedule an appointment Monday - Thursday during the day or evening. Please contact us if you need an appointment outside the hours listed above. We require a $50 credit card authorization for appointments outside of regular hours. However, you card will not be charged unless you do not show up.
How long does an appointment typically last?
Appointments last approximately 90 minutes.
How many guests are allowed? Who should I bring with me?
We ask that you keep your group size to 4 guests in addition to yourself. We recommend bringing those family members or friends who will support your vision in an honest, positive manner. If you feel that 4 guests are just not enough, please call us so we can make arrangements to accommodate a larger group.
Do you allow kids?
While we allow you to bring kids to your appointment, it is helpful to recognize that you will want to focus on your needs during your time at the Wedding Center. Any children attending your appointment will count as one of your guests. They must stay in your dressing room area with an adult at all times. Please bring a quiet activity for them that will hold their attention for 90 minutes, along with headphones for any device they may use. Kids will need to be taken outside if they are creating a distraction.
What methods of payment do you accept? How and when do I pay for my dress?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Of course, cash is always king!
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. No exchanges or returns.
